Repatriation formalities of 28 Bangladeshi detainees.

15 February 2010 a meeting was held between Mr. Paban Chowdhury, Charge d' Affairs a.i. of the Embassy of Bangladesh in Bangkok and Ms. Chitraporn Arpornart, Director, Dept. of South Asian, Middle East and African Affairs, Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Thailand at the Thai at the Thai Foreign Ministry regarding the repatriation formalities of 28 Bangladeshi detainees. Mr. Shahedul Haque, Minister (Consular) from Bangladesh was present there. It has been decided in the meeting that all 28 people will be repatriated to Bangladesh on Wednesday, February 17, 2010 by Biman flight no. BG 089 departing from Bangkok at 1550 hrs (LT) and reaching Dhaka at 1720 hrs (LT). The Embassy is now in the process of issuing Travel permits for them that all 28 people will be repatriated to Bangladesh on Wednesday, February 17, 2010 by Biman flight no.
